What is IFTTT?
IFTTT stands for ‘If this then that’. It is a web application that allows you to automatically control Internet connected devices, such as LightwaveRF dimmers, using other 3rd party internet connected products or Apps listed on the IFTTT website. These simple connections between products and apps are made using ‘recipes’ which are commands that allow you to say IF this happens (e.g. weather forecast wet) then do THAT (e.g. turn on a LightwaveRF dimmer).
How to use IFTTT
LightwaveRF has several ‘Channels’ on IFTTT: lighting, heating, power and events. You can use these channels to control relevant LightwaveRF devices and create recipes; for example, the Lighting channel allows you to control LightwaveRF dimmers, in-line dimmers and dimmable plugins. To get started with IFTTT, you must first have a Lightwave Link and registered account. You can then visit the IFTTT website to start using the LightwaveRF channels.
